JLC Kuitpo Family Fun is on this Sunday 18th August from 1pm at Chookarloo campground. Please provide your own refreshments (aside from marshmallows – I have them ready to roast!!) Are there any families local to the area that are willing to get a campfire going for us?

Also, tickets for the St Michael’s Lutheran School’s 180th Birthday Celebration dinner will soon be on sale. If you think you’ll find it tricky to put together your own table of 8-10, there will be an option available to select tickets on a JLC table (or any of the learning communities).

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the school community for your support in another successful Book Fair. As a community you purchased over $4,000 worth of books enabling us to purchase many new books for the library. We feel very blessed by your generosity.

Next Monday (19th August) is the beginning of Book Week and our dress up day. The theme for this year is READING IS MY SECRET POWER. The children can dress as their favorite book character or as something inspired by the theme. There will be a parade on Monday morning in Bukatila around 9am. All are welcome.
